Jag har alldeles nyss lyssnat på ett radioprogram där man samtalar med professor Akbar Ahmed och hans fyra medresenärer (två forskningsassistenter och två studenter) på en resa till Jordanien, Syrien, Katar; Pakistan, Indien, Indonesien och Malajsia, där de gjorde djupgående intervjuer med 120 personer ur olika samhällsskikt.

Resan resulterade i boken A Journey into Islam: The Crisis of Globalization som kom ut alldeles nyligen. Du kan lyssna på programmet här:


Själv hade jag bara tänkte lyssna en liten stund, men blev så fascinerad av samtalet att jag lyssnade igenom hela programmet. Tillsammans med en kopp kaffe blev det en riktigt trevlig och lärorik start på denna vackra dag :D
