Det kan vara svärt att ur muslimska länders agerande sluta sig till vad den där dominerande rättskolan anser - t.ex. används i Pakistan lokal siktning, trots att man där följer Hanafi-madhhab, och majoritetsåsikten inom Hanafi madhhab är för global siktning. Pakistans ställnigstagande kan ta in andra aspekter också, t.ex. en strävan att inte blint följa Saudiarabien.

Jag har tittat lite på data den senaste tiden, och försökt att tänka mig hur man skulle kunna utforna t.ex. en svensk kalender baserad på lokal siktning av månen. Ett problem som uppstår då är att månen oftast syns först i Malmö, och kanske en eller t.o.m. 2 dagar senare i norra Sverige.

Vill man basera en kalender på observationer lokalt i norra Sverige, tillkommer dessutom problemet att månen inte blir synlig där förrän efter en ansenlig tid, så månaderna kommer att tendera att bli 30 dagar baserat helt enkelt på 29 + 1.

Om man å andra sidan bor i Norrland och vill använda Malmö som "lokal" för observation så uppstår frågan: Varför just Malmö - varför inte Köpenhamn eller Oslo? Och om man godtar Oslo som lokal för observation, så varför inte Englands västkust, eller Bretagne, eller Gibraltar, eller Maghrib al-Aqsa, Mauretanien, Kanarieöarna...?

...bara för att de inte ligger inom vissa nationella eller geografiska eller politiska (dvs. ur islamisk synpunkt arbiträra) gränser?!?!

Var upphör observationen att vara "lokal"?!?! Enligt Shari´a är den inte längre lokal, om den gjorts bortom en dagsresas avstånd. Det innebär att det inte går att göra *en* lokal svensk kalender, utan man för göra många regionala kalndrar.

Antar man siktning från orter längre bort, är det rimligtvis frågan om global observation. Hur långt sträcker sig då "globen" - till nästa stad? eller till nationens gränser? eller till kontinentens kant? eller till datumgränsen?

Det är det som Imam ZS's artikel dsiktuterar - fast i Amerka. Och han kom då fram till att det enda rimliga är att betrakta hela jordklotet, istället för arbiträra avsnitt i form av regionella eller nationella "stater" eller kontinenter. resonemanget är direkt analogt med vär situation i Sverige.

Det är första gången jag ser global sighting presenterad som en majoritetsåsikt i Maliki-skolan, vilket inte på något sätt behöver bestrida det Imam Zayd skriver.

Jag tror förvisso att anledningen till att man vänder sig till global sighting är för att försöka sluta leden bland muslimerna och i detta är min personliga åsikt att det är något gott. Det traditionellt mycket starka maliki-landet Marocko brukar ju som legio öppna fastan en dag efter de flesta länderna och detta kan väl uppfattas att bestrida Imamens påstående om "majoritetsåsikt".
Men som sagt, jag har inte läst källan han refererar till och jag vet med mig att jag oftast har kontakt med en ganska konservativ del av skolan, så jag vill inte på några vis bestrida det han skriver.

och Allah vet bäst.
