Naa'm syster...kunskap OCH Ikhlas (uppriktighet? ) dvs rent niyyah är viktigast. Bara kunskap eller böcker eller lektioner kommer att ge ingenting...om man inte har rent niyyah. Rather kunskap utan Ikhlas och Ihsan kan vilseleda en student eller vanlig muslim!

Och detta (Ikhlas/Taqwah) kan man bara få när man sitter bland Ahl ul Allah och personer med taqwa.

För övrigt jag håller med dig när det gäller Boul'hya och sådana uttryck, sådana ord finns överallt i islamiska världen och det är synd att det är så! Men skägg eller hijab ger ingen betyg att man är bra muslim. Jag har sett och känner flera män med skägg och kvinnor med hijab som var inte ens ett bra exempel av muslim. Och vice versa det finns tusental män utan skägg och kvinnor utan hijab som är bäst när det kommer på Ikhlaq och Taqwah och sådana saker. Kanske de kommer att ha skägg / ta hijab med Allah's Fadhl insha Allah, vem vet!

Bland vissa muslimer kan även tex slöja på en ung kvinna anses som extremt trots att det är obligatoriskt.En vän till mig som är några år yngre beslöt sig för att ta på sig slöja men berättade hur rädd hon var för släktens och vänners reaktioner nere i Marocko.Hon var alltså rädd för att de skulle tycka det var extremt,och detta är muslimer i ett muslimskt land vi talar om.

Listan kan göras lång på vad olika muslimer uppfattar som extremt och inte.Det finns liksom ingen skarp gräns för vad som klassas som extremt upplever jag och därför kan balansen vara svår att hitta.Jag ser endast kunskap som lösningen.Ju mer kunskap och förståelse man får om religionen desto bätte vet man när praktiserandet av religionen kan gå till överdrift och resultera i dåliga saker istället för goda.

Ett mycket bra svar tycker jag.Jag ser det hela precis på samma sätt och har inget att tillägga förutom att vad man klassar som extremt absolut skiftar från person till person och även från muslim till muslim vilket är väldigt intressant!

Extrema muslimer är ett modernt uttryck, som jag inte tänker försöka mig på att definiera ur ett västerländskt eller medialt perspektiv.

Ordet extrem betyder överdriven eller något som går till ytterligheter, och en extremist är någon som gör det. Vad som anses som extremt skiftar ju från samhälle till samhälle och från tid till tid, kanske även från person till person.

Om man tittar på ordet ur ett muslimskt perspektiv så kan man hitta flera hadither som antyder att det skulle vara oförenligt med Profetens sunna, Guds frid och välsignelser vare med honom, att gå till överdrift. Det finns exempel där Profeten, Guds frid och välsignelser vare med honom, tillrättavisar de som inte balanserar jämnt mellan Guds rättigheter över dem, andra människors rättigheter och deras kroppars rättigheter. T.ex. om man bara tjänar Gud i form av bön och fasta och inte försörjer eller försöker försörja sig och sin familj så är det att gå till överdrift, eller helt enkelt ha förstått saker och ting på ett felaktigt sätt. För att undvika att gå till överdrift i religiösa frågor, så gäller att vända sig till Profetens sunnah, Guds frid vare med honom, och de lärdas förståelse av den.
