Oblandat vatten (salt eller sott) ar renande ( ) och tillater rituellt renande (wudu' & ghusl). Det kallas - al-maa' al-mutlaq

Blandat vatten kan vara av tre sorter:

1. Orent
2. Rent
3. Renande

1. Om en oren substans (i.e najasa) blandas med vatten och forandrar Lukt - Smak - Utseende (en eller flera av dessa kategorier) ar vattnet orent och ej tjanligt for rituella eller profana syften.

Om en lite del oren substans faller i en lite mangd vatten utan att forandra nagon av dess tre karaktaristik sa ar det makrouh, men tillatet att anvanda det for Tahara, enligt den mest kanda asikten inom skolan.

2. Om en ren substans blandas med vattnet (sasom saffran, deg eller rosor) och forandrar dess lukt, smak elller utseende sa ar vattnet rent, men inte renande. Det ar tillatet att anvanda sadant vatten konventionellt sasom mat och dryck, men ej till Tahara.

3. Vatten som forandras naturligt i lukt, smak eller utseende genom lera, saltavlagringar, sulfur och liknande ar renande.

Och Allah vet bast.
