Det stämmer som du säger broder b-salh.

Det finns en avgörande aspekt som inte togs upp på den bloggen - nämligen frågan om man går efter lokal eller global observation.

Enligt Shafiískolan godkänns (om jag förstått rätt) endast lokal observation, dvs. månen måste ha observerats inom en viss radie. Enligt det kriteriet kan man inte börja fasta i Sverige förrän på torsdag.

Enligt Hanafiskolan godtas global observation (men det finns ikhtilaf), dvs. om nymånen observerats någon annanstans börjar man fasta. Så vi fastar idag (onsdag).

Jag tror broder Tahiri kanske har läst fel på den (f.ö utmärkta) länken han gav.
Det som observerats i de nämnda länderna den 10 augusti är försvinnande Sha3bans måne.
Nymwnen är synlig på södra halvklotet den 10 augusti, men ICOP har inga positiva rapporter för nymånen denna dag.
